10月5日、Hannari Wagashi Lab 主催の「初秋と冬」をテーマにした練り切り研究会に参加しました。
とても思い出深く温かい体験で、創造性と日本文化の美しさを通して季節の移ろいを感じる素晴らしい時間となりました。

最初は少し緊張していましたが、皆さんがとても親切で温かく迎えてくださったおかげで、すぐにリラックスして楽しむことができました。真っ白な練り切りの生地から始め、自分の好きな色を作り、さまざまな道具を使って形を整えていきました。テーブルの上には、紅葉、花、うさぎ、亀、ハロウィン、そしてクリスマスの丸太ケーキなど、季節を感じる美しい作品が並びました。皆さんの想像力が同じテーマをそれぞれ違う形で表現していて、とても刺激的でした。

限られた時間の中でしたが、全員が作品を完成させ、その背景にあるストーリーを共有することができました。皆さんの思いや発想を聞くことで、より深く意味のある時間になりました。笑顔と創造力、そして温かい繋がりにあふれた心地よいひととき――秋と冬を迎える素敵な体験となりました。

On October 5, I joined a Nerikiri Creative Group Workshop hosted by Hannari Wagashi Lab, with the theme Early Autumn and Winter. It was such a memorable and heartwarming experience — a wonderful way to welcome the changing seasons through creativity and the beauty of Japanese culture.

I was a little nervous at first, but everyone was so kind and warm that I quickly relaxed and enjoyed the process. We started with pure white nerikiri paste, created our own colors, and used various tools to shape our ideas. Soon, the table was filled with beautiful creations — autumn leaves, flowers, rabbits, turtles, Halloween, and even Christmas logs. It was inspiring to see how everyone’s imagination brought out a different side of the same theme.

Even though the time was limited, we all managed to finish our pieces and share the stories behind them. Listening to everyone’s inspirations made the moment even more meaningful. It was a cozy and joyful experience — full of smiles, creativity, and connection — and a truly lovely way to welcome autumn and winter together.
